Invitation to join MCAA Annual Conference - Letna konferenca združenja MSCA alumni bo letos v Krakovu od 19. do 22. marca 2025

 

📢The Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) will hold its next Annual Conference and General Assembly in Krakow, Poland, on March 21–22, 2025, with various satellite events taking place on March 19–20.

 

Every year, this flagship event brings together hundreds of participants from across the world and different fields of expertise to discuss topics related to science, innovation, policy, and academic life, while also providing opportunities for networking and collaboration.

 This year’s edition of the conference, themed “Research and innovation in a rapidly evolving world,” will be held at the AGH University of Krakow.

 The agenda includes sessions on various topics of interest to the global research and innovation community, including science policy, industry-academia collaboration, AI in research, and science communication.

Sprememba predvidenega datuma objave razpisa MSCA podoktorske štipendije, iz 9. aprila na 8. maj 2025

Evropska komisija nas je obvestila, da bo datum objave razpisa za MSCA podoktorske štipendije podaljšan za en mesec, in sicer bo objavljen ⏰ 8. maja 2025. 

Datum zaključka razpisa bo ostal nespremenjen, 10. september 2025. To pomeni, da bodo kandidati imeli za pripravo samo štiri mesece in ne pet, kot običajno. 

Komisija je obljubila, da bodo vsi potrebni 📝dokumenti za prijavo predloga projekta MSCA PF 2025 že prej na razpolago.  

Spletna stran slovenskega MSCA DN projekta - Biotehniška fakulteta Univerze v Ljubljani

Obveščamo vas, da je v sklopu evropskega MSCA DN projekta ViroiDoc - Napredne raziskave patogeneze in nadzora viroidov za trajnostno kmetijstvo, ki ga koordinira BF (uradno UL), zaživela spletna stran www.viroidoc.eu. Prav tam lahko obiskovalci izvejo, kaj sploh so viroidi in zakaj je pomemben nadzor nad njimi.

Napovedan je mednarodni razpis, ki vabi doktorske kandidate na raziskovalno delo v Francijo, Grčijo, Italijo, Nemčijo, Španijo in Slovenijo. 

Razpis bo predvidoma objavljen do konca marca, rok za prijavo pa bo predvidoma aprila letos. 

Priporočamo, da na napovedan razpis opozorite potencialne kandidate oz. vaše partnerske institucije doma in v tujini.

National Institute for Research in Digital Science and Technology - INRIA (France) MSCA-PF hosting offers 2025 & April webinar + training sessions

Iz francoskega inštituta INRIA - National Institute for Research in Digital Science and Technology smo prejeli spodnje obvestilo o možnostih za  MSCA podoktorske štipendije na rapisu 2025:  

We are the support cell for MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships at the National Institute for Research in Digital Science and Technology (INRIA, France). For us the MSCA-PF call is an opportunity to get very good postdocs from abroad, and our dedicated training sessions for candidates ensure us a very good success rate (40% average).

In a push to get good candidates from abroad we would like to announce the start of our annual campaign of hosting offers, with more than 90 offers for 2025 which can be found here: https://www.inria.fr/sites/default/files/2025-02/List%20hosting%20offers%20Inria%20MSCA-PF%202025.pdf .
To further explain the opportunities we provide in terms of hosting offers but also in terms of training for the candidates, we propose on 22 April (13:00 CET) a webinar, followed on 29 April, 27 May and early July by more dedicated training sessions for candidates wishing to submit a PF project with Inria as host institution.

Tallinn University: MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship opportuinites

Iz estonske Univerze v Talinu  smo dobili informacijo o možnosti MSCA podoktorskih prijav na razpisu 2025 na področju družboslovja in humanistike. 

Tallinn University, specialised in Social Sciences and Humanities, is organising MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship camps to give opportunities for Postdoctoral fellows to work in Estonia. We will welcome 36 candidates on-site this year, through 4 Faculties (Education, Digital Technologies, Humanities, Governance/international relations). All candidates are welcome to pick a supervisor and apply with their own project. If they are selected, we will support their application until submission. 

It is open to everyone but I believe it may be a good opportunity for junior researchers from Slovenia to get more experience and acquire some additional knowledge without accentuating the brain drain towards non-Widening countries. We do hope, in the longer-term, that these exchanges would allow more cooperation between our University and the ones from your country through future collaborative grants. (Horizon, MSCA, etc.)
