Najava letne konference MSCA v Toledu, 14. in 15. novembra 2023

 

Na uradni spletni strani španskega predsedovanju Svetu Evropske unije je objavljena najava letne konference MSCA v Toledu, 14. in 15. novembra 2023. 

Save the Date for the Conference “Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions: Diverse research careers to tackle Global Challenges” Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU High-Level Conference 14-15 November, Toledo The Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union organises a High-Level Conference on the funding programme Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) of Horizon Europe. The event will take place in the city of Toledo, next 14th, and 15th of November to reflect on “MSCA Diverse Research Careers to tackle Global Challenges.”   The event will be structured around the following concepts:  The contribution of science to policymaking through initiatives supporting interfaces between science and policy, and the opportunities the MSCA programme currently offers for implementing similar approaches. The historical participation of the non-academic sector in MSCA to identify possible needs to increase the engagement of the public administrations.   The role of MSCA as a programme with a global dimension that impacts at local, regional and national level, facilitating the definition of policies and initiatives aimed at facing global challenges. The capacity and emerging challenges of the MSCA programme to support diversity and inclusion, a key dimension for designing the best possible policies. The advances of the ERA Policy Agenda in the field of diversification of the research career and intersectoral mobility and how they link with the MSCA programme. The event will gather more than 150 people, bringing together the main European and international actors in the field of scientific mobility, career development and science for policy.
